Ovum's Western European ICT Enterprise Insights 2018/19 survey highlighted that for more than one-third (37%) of premium content owners (broadcast TV and digital service providers), the top three business priorities for the next 18 months are: unifying content search, syndication, and discovery workflows to lower churn; personalizing multiscreen user experience (UX); and improving operational profitability by increasing average revenue per user (ARPU) and average revenue per advertiser (ARPA).

The multiscreen TV and video segment is maturing in Western Europe, resulting in an increase in premium content investments to safeguard profitability and digital user share. This is paving the way for spending on technology stacks that lower inefficiencies across the content search, syndication, and discovery workflows to enable hyperpersonalized engagement on multiple screens and devices.
